Samson Jude Seidel was born 11.22.09 at 1:51 PM in a lovely birthing suite in Poudre Valley Hospital. He weighed in at 6 lbs. 13 ozs. and was 18.5" tall...
He is (as of 12.2.09- 10 days old) now 7lbs. and 7 ozs! He's doing quite well and is fantastically healthy.
Of course, it was a momentous occasion for all who attended. Chad, his mom, my mom and (of course!) I were very emotional when he arrived. I went into PVH at 4:30 AM on 11.22.09 after my water had broken at home. Contractions began almost immediately, and by 9:55 AM, I had reached 10 CM and 100% effaced and was instructed to begin pushing... 4 long hours later Samson was born.
It has been such a long 9 months, and we couldn't wait to meet him. We are so glad that he is finally here and doing so well. I hope to make it to see you guys down there in Pueblo and Denver very soon (within the next couple of weeks) and I can't wait to introduce him to you : )
